Liberty Theatre Arts

Liberty theatre arts was established in 2012 and is a registered travelling theatre group based at the Kenya National Theatre. We provide quality and educative programs targeting secondary school institutions. It has been a journey that has seen us perform high quality English literature and Fasihi Simulizi set books in over 50 schools spread all over Kenya. We can accurately estimate that during our events we access about 3,000 secondary school students. Liberty Theatre Arts comprises young, dynamic thespians making performing arts an alternative employment sector thus creating job opportunities for young people. Indeed we are a contributor to the realization of Kenya Vision 2030. In light of the increasing demands for excellence in education among young Kenyans, we believe Liberty is well positioned to contribute its share in facilitating this dream through theater.
